Adventures were supposed to begin in September 2020. Due to COVID, it was then some time after January 10th. Then around FEB 20th. Then it was sometime between September 12th and December 4th, 2021.

It's was a long year but it was confirmed that we would arrive on October 17, 2021. I arrived in Japan to be quarantined at the Keio Plaza Hotel for 14 days. Then it was off to cozy little Hashima City in Gifu Prefecture where I lived in another hotel for 3 more weeks while my apartment got sorted. I now live, work as a JET ALT*, and explore obscure, and some not so obscure, alternatives in Japan! (and drink with the locals)
